Dental Hygienist – Oviedo Dental Arts
Oviedo Dental Arts is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We are a patient-centered private practice committed to providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
Take digital X-rays and accurately document clinical findings
Complete periodontal charting and assess patients’ oral health
Educate patients on oral hygiene and recommended treatment
Assist the dentist in identifying periodontal and restorative concerns
Maintain proper infection-control and sterilization standards
Provide compassionate care and help patients feel comfortable
Maintain accurate and complete clinical notes
Qualifications:
Current Florida Dental Hygienist license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Local anesthesia certification preferred
Strong communication and patient-education skills
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
Experience with dental software and digital X-rays preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
