Our busy dental practice is looking for a friendly and organized Hygiene Coordinator to join our front office team. You will be the first welcoming face our patients see. Your main goal is to keep our hygiene schedules full, help patients understand their oral health needs, and deliver top-notch customer service with a SMILE!!!!
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize the daily and long-term hygiene re-care and recall systems.
Answer incoming phone calls, address patient questions, and confirm upcoming appointments.
Greet, check in, and check out patients with a warm and professional attitude.
Verify patient dental insurance benefits.
Coordinate smoothly with dental hygienists and dentists to maintain an efficient patient flow.
Reach out to unscheduled or overdue patients to reactivate their care.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or GED required.
1 to 2 years of dental front office or customer service experience.
Strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy.
Excellent phone etiquette, computer literacy, and multitasking skills.
Experience with dental software
Schedule:
We are a family focused team and our schedule reflects that. Hygiene Coordinators will enjoy a 4
day work schedule from 8:00-5:00 and no weekends!
