Hygiene Coordinator/Dental Receptionist

The Role
You will be a key driver of both front desk efficiency and patient experience:
Manging all aspects of the hygiene schedule for 2 full time and 2 part time (Saturday only) hygienists
Assisting with patient check-in and check-out with professionalism and warmth
Building genuine relationships with patients — greeting them in a personal, non-transactional way
Supporting patient communication around services, promotions, and overall engagement with the practice
Who You Are
Experienced dental receptionist
Experience reviewing patient records to identify outstanding preventative and diagnostic services, including recalls, periodontal charting, examinations and radiographs (bitewings, panoramic x-rays etc), and proactively obtain insurance pre-authorizations
Experience applying for additional scaling units where applicable
Confident communicating with patients about costs
Naturally warm, personable, and relationship-driven
Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
Able to anticipate needs and stay ahead of the schedule
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured environment. We use Open Dental and Max Assist. Experience is a nice to have, but training is provided
Available to work 1 - 2 Saturdays per month
