Hygienist RDH

We are looking for a hygienist who could work a flexible part time schedule of their own design at our large modern dental clinic.

It could be just a 5 hour Friday every week, or it could be three 8 hour days per week.

It is up to you what your schedule would look like.

We are open to new grads, or people with many years of experience.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and work collaboratively with our dental staff to ensure a positive patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to utilize your clinical skills in a supportive and modern dental practice environment. The position requires a strong focus on patient comfort, hygiene procedures, and maintaining high standards of dental care.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Assist with patient examinations and prepare treatment rooms for procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to develop personalized treatment plans
Manage patient questions regarding oral health, insurance, and treatment options with professionalism and empathy
Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety guidelines, including sterilization procedures
Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly environment that eases anxiety during visits
Experience
Valid RDH license in the state of practice with current certification requirements met
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial
Pay: $56.00-$70.00 per hour
