We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Front Office And Insurance Specialist to join our private dental practice. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly, manage multi-line phone systems, and coordinate appointment scheduling with efficiency and professionalism.
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and facilitate insurance authorization processes
Update paperwork, answer simple insurance questions and check in patients
Schedule appointments efficiently utilizing Dentrix software
Collect payments, print invoices and schedule future or follow up appointments
Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries professionally, assisting with intake procedures, and supporting front desk operations in a busy clinic environment.
Coordinate patient treatment plans, explaining procedures and financial options clearly and confidently
Manage scheduling, patient flow, and appointment confirmations to maximize productivity
Handle billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and collections
Maintain thorough knowledge of dental insurance policies, dental terminology, and office management protocols to support seamless clinic operations.
Requirements
2 years of experience in a dental office
Strong background in dental administrative support and front desk operations
Familiarity with dental terms, and Dentrix dental software
Experience with insurance verification processes
Bilingual (Spanish and English) candidate is required to serve diverse patient populations effectively
Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure confidentiality of patient information
Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
