Lead Dental Assistant

We are looking for a Skilled Dental Assistant to become a long-term lead member of our happy dental team.

Required over 5 years of chairside clinical assisting

This position is Full Time in Palm Beach.

Our practice is a highly advanced digital practice that offers intra oral scanning, Same day crown fabrication, Ct scanners, intra oral cameras and other technologies. Digital dentistry sets us apart and we focus on family, cosmetic and implant dentistry. We accept most insurances and have high new patient flow and a happy stable team. This is the right place for an experienced assistant that practices digital dentistry and looking for a stable home or a new assistant looking for mentorship and has interest in the areas we focus on.

Dentrix/Dexis experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities as a Lead Clinical Assistant :

Educate and speak to patients in a friendly and efficient manner.

Clinical ordering of supplies

Maintaining office stock

Dental assistant school is required

Speak to patients about dental concerns

Keep the basic day to day procedures smooth

Sterilization techniques

Self-motivated, goal oriented and driven to succeed.

Firm commitment to caring for our patients.

High level of professionalism.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort

Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed

Sterilize instruments according to regulations

Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry

Undertake lab tasks as instructed

Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked

Proven experience as dental assistant

Outgoing and cheerful personality

Able to pack cord and make temporary impressions

Understanding of health & safety regulations

Attention to detail

Well-organized and reliable

Taking care of all doctors needs and requests

CAD / CAM experience and digital dentistry
