Lead Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you are passionate about dentistry and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Perform dental charting and record patient information

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records

- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Requirements

- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting/ Preferred

-minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience required.

- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices

- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry

- Experience with Curve Dental Preferred.

- Experience with medical imaging techniques

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
