We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including general dentistry and pediatrics.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform medical imaging and utilize 3D scanners as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Document patient information accurately in medical records, adhering to infection control protocols.
Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain compliance with infection control standards.
Support front office operations as needed, including dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care.
Requirements
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical documentation processes and infection control systems is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
