Lead Dental Assistant

At Pleasant Hill Dental Care, we are seeking an enthusiastic dental assistant with strong work ethic, excellent communication, and patient care skills to join our amazing team! Our current dental assistant of 28 years is retiring, and we will miss her greatly. Our office environment is one where everyone is happy to help, and we love connecting with our amazing patients. Full Job Description - Dental Assistant assists dentist, sets up patient and equipment, performs clinical and technical procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist. Prepares patient operatories and equipment and assists doctors during examination and treatment. Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients. Provides support to dentists and is an example of respect and caring to patients and team members.

Examples of duties include but not limited to:

- Polishing teeth

- Taking radiographs

- Ordering supplies

- Managing incoming/outgoing cases
Our office hours are:
Monday: 2pm-8pm
Tuesday – Thursday: 9am-5pm
Saturday (one per month): 9am-2pm
Our schedule allows for long weekends 3 weeks per month!

Requirements:
Prior experience preferred but on the job training is available
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Expanded function certificate is favored but not necessary
