Job Description
We are a fun and professional yet casual dental office with an immediate opening for a full time chairside Lead Dental Assistant. We offer a friendly caring work atmosphere, achievable bonuses, a four-day work week, competitive pay, PTO, employer-matched 401(k) plan, two sets of scrubs every two years, dental care for immediate family, continuing education and annual renewal of DA license.
General dentistry chairside assisting experience and radiological certification are required. We use PRF in guided bone regeneration, so absolutely must be comfortable around blood. Phlebotomy and nitrous oxide certifications are highly desirable, as well as training in CBCT and CAD/CAM/intraoral scanning. Implant surgery experience, Curve Practice Management Software experience and bilingual is a plus. We are an EOE.
Primary Job Duties Include:
Assist with dental treatments as instructed
Take and record dental histories and patient records
Prepare instruments, clean treatment areas, and sterilize equipment
Prepare, send, and track both physical and digital lab records and cases
Front office support, including greeting patients, answering phones and scheduling as needed
Responsible for patient flow and directing the Doctor to stay on task
Instruct patients in oral hygiene and next steps in treatment
Order supplies as needed based on monthly budget.
Maintain communication of the schedule with all team members of any changes throughout the day.
Ideal Candidate:
Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it.
Must be articulate and service-oriented
Ability to multi-task. Take initiative and anticipate needs of others.
Reliable and prompt; available for at least 32 hours per week
Works well in a team, with humor, enthusiasm and joyful consideration of others.
Graduated from an accredited dental assisting program
Resides within 30 minutes of our office.
