Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Lead Dental Receptionist who is fluent in Tamil to join our vibrant dental team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your leadership skills and dental office expertise will help streamline front desk operations, coordinate patient scheduling, and foster a welcoming environment that promotes excellent patient care.
Duties
Oversee daily front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and billing processes using Dentrix dental practice management software.
Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries promptly, schedule appointments, confirm patient details, and direct calls appropriately.
Coordinate with dental staff to optimize appointment flow, manage cancellations or rescheduling, and prepare daily schedules.
Assist patients with insurance verification, payment processing, and explaining treatment plans clearly and professionally.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting with strong knowledge of dental terminology and office procedures.
At least 3 years experience working in a dental administrative role is required
