Lead General Dentist- New Clinic
Location: South-Central Iowa
Job Type: Full-Time

A growing, mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Lead General Dentist to step into a newly added community-centered practice. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a modern dental clinic while delivering meaningful care to an underserved population.
You will practice in an integrated healthcare environment alongside medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy teams—designed to improve patient outcomes and expand access to care.
The Opportunity
Immediate patient demand with strong, built-in volume
Lead Clinical role with autonomy and clinical influence
Newly renovated clinic expanding to 6 operatories
Collaborative, team-based care model
Stable schedule — no weekends, no call
Practice Environment
Digital dentistry (digital x-ray, intraoral scanning)
Established clinical support: hygienists and dental assistants
Integrated setting with medical and behavioral health services
Efficient workflows designed for productivity and quality
Schedule & Volume
Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no weekends or evenings, no call
16–18 patients per day (including hygiene exams)
Patient mix: primarily adult with some pediatric patients
Scope of Practice
Restorative dentistry
Extractions
Crowns and bridges
Dentures
Simple root canals
Preventive care and hygiene exams
Compensation
Base salary: (flexible based on experience + internal equity)
Quarterly production bonus: $50 per encounter above target
Annual quality bonus tied to performance
Additional Incentives
Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance up to $20,000
Student loan repayment eligibility (NHSC/state programs up to $50,000)
