Job Description
Former hygienists, experienced assistants, and dental professionals with strong hygiene knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Are you passionate about dental hygiene, patient education, and helping people achieve healthier smiles?
We're looking for an experienced, warm, and highly organized Dental Hygiene Assistant who wants more than a traditional assisting role. This position combines hands-on clinical support with leadership responsibilities to help our hygiene department grow and thrive.

What You'll Do
Support hygienists during patient care and periodontal treatment.
Assist with radiographs, charting, polishing, flossing, and patient education as permitted by state regulations.
Prepare operatories and maintain exceptional infection control standards.
Help patients understand recommended preventive and periodontal care.
Work closely with scheduling to keep hygiene appointments full and productive.
Manage hygiene inventory and supplies.
Monitor hygiene department performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Support patient retention, reactivation, and continuing care programs.
Promote home-care products and preventive services that improve patient outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Dental office experience required.
Strong understanding of hygiene, periodontal therapy, and preventive dentistry.
Friendly, caring, and confident communication skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Comfortable discussing treatment recommendations and patient benefits.
Experience with Open Dental or similar practice software preferred.
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Someone who enjoys helping both patients and teammates succeed.
