Lead Orthodontic Assistant

Im Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics combines comprehensive pediatric dental care with orthodontic services under one roof. Dr. Chenard leads our growing orthodontic program, and we're looking for a skilled Ortho Assistant to support this expansion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Assist Dr. Chenard with orthodontic procedures (braces, aligners, adjustments)
Take orthodontic records including photos, X-rays, and impressions
Remove and place brackets, ligatures, and archwires
Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
Maintain orthodontic supplies and equipment
Cross-train with pediatric team as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Valid California RDA license (RDAEF preferred)
Orthodontic experience strongly preferred
Skilled in bracket placement, wire changes, and ortho record-taking
Patient, detail-oriented, and great with teens
Ability to work independently during ortho clinic days
WHAT WE OFFER:
Premium pay: $28-$35/hour for qualified ortho experience
RDAEF certification support
Work alongside experienced pediatric and ortho teams

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Experience:
assisting in orthodontics: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
