Lead Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)Beacon Hill Dental | NW Calgary
Are you an experienced RDA who's ready to lead, mentor, and help shape a growing practice?
Beacon Hill Dental is looking for an exceptional Lead Registered Dental Assistant to join our leadership team.
This is more than a chairside position. We're looking for someone who enjoys building systems, supporting teammates, maintaining high clinical standards, and creating an outstanding patient experience while continuing to work alongside our doctors.
If you're someone who naturally takes ownership, solves problems before they become problems, and inspires others to do their best work, we'd love to meet you.
Your Role
As our Lead RDA, you will:
Lead by example while providing excellent chairside assistance.
Support, coach, and mentor our team of dental assistants.
Help maintain efficient clinical workflows and daily operations.
Ensure operatories, instruments, and supplies meet the highest standards.
Work closely with doctors and management to improve systems and patient care.
Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
Help foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
What We're Looking For
You are someone who:
Has 5+ years of RDA experience (lead experience is an asset).
Is registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants.
Is confident assisting in restorative, crown and bridge, endodontics, oral surgery, implants, and other advanced procedures.
Enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed.
Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done.
Has excellent organizational and communication skills.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Brings a positive attitude and strong sense of accountability.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with:
Cleardent
CBCT and digital workflows
Implant and surgical procedures
Inventory management
Clinical scheduling and workflow optimization
Training and performance coaching
