Job Description
Palm Beach Periodontics is seeking an experienced, motivated Lead Dental Hygienist to join our growing periodontal and implant practice.
This is a unique opportunity for a hygienist who is looking for more than a traditional hygiene position. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking someone who wants to help build and lead our periodontal maintenance program and become a key member of our long-term leadership team.
We are looking for a hygienist who takes ownership of their patients, values clinical excellence, and is excited about helping develop systems that improve patient retention, periodontal health, and overall practice growth. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, educating patients, identifying opportunities for treatment, and helping ensure patients remain active in care.
As our hygiene department expands, this individual will have the opportunity to help shape protocols, mentor future team members, and contribute to the continued success of the practice.
Responsibilities
Periodontal maintenance and non-surgical periodontal therapy
Patient education and oral hygiene instruction
Monitoring periodontal stability and identifying recurrent disease
Assisting with reactivation of overdue patients and unscheduled treatment opportunities
Collaborating with doctors regarding treatment recommendations
Helping maintain a productive and efficient schedule
Contributing to patient retention and long-term periodontal health
What We're Looking For
Current Florida Dental Hygiene License
Experience in a periodontal, surgical, or comprehensive restorative practice strongly preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Growth mindset and desire for continuous improvement
Proactive, accountable, and team-oriented approach to patient care
Interest in leadership and helping to build a thriving hygiene department
