Schedule:
Monday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am- 12:00pm (until October, then until 5pm)
Thursday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $27-$33/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Please note that this is a replacement job opening due to retirement of past dental assistant.

Your Role:
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
Perform chairside assisting duties for a variety of treatments including but not limited to, traditional orthodontics, Invisalign, extractions, endodontics, restorations, etc.

Assist dentist during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior
About You:
Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
Previous dental assisting experience is required
Organized, proactive, and self-motivated
Outgoing, personable, and passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences
