Job Description

River Street Endodontics is a boutique privately owned specialty clinic in the Corktown Area of downtown Toronto. We are seeking a part-time dental assistant to join our team. We are open to new graduates who are reliable, proactive, and share a passion for learning and patient care.

Qualifications:

Level I and Level II Diploma.

IPAC, CPR and WHMIS up-to-date.

Live in the downtown core or within reasonable commute.

Will be completing Certification Exam.

Excellent communication and strong organization skills.

Understanding of IPAC and sterilization procedures.

Confident using a computer including email and dental software.

Responsibilities:

Prepare instruments and materials.

Sterilize equipment and maintain IPAC standards.

Take diagnostic endodontic radiographs including shift shots and position patient for CBCT.

Transcribe doctor notes and sent out post op letters and scans.

Manage inventory and ordering.

Keep clinical areas organized and clean.

Complete comfort calls and assist admins when there are no patients.

Compensation: $24-26/HR during training period. Health Spending Account, Scrubs provided, and 3 paid sick days. Hourly compensation to be evaluated after the probationary period.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9-7 pm.

Part-time with the flexibility to grow into a full time position once trained at a higher wage.
