Job Description
Level II Certified Dental Assistant (HARP Certified)Temporary Position – 6 Month Sick Leave Coverage (Potential for Extension)
Location: Hamilton, ON (Near McMaster University)
King Street Dental is seeking a friendly, reliable, and skilled Level II Certified Dental Assistant (HARP Certified) to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a 6-month sick leave, with the potential for extension.
Our practice is conveniently located near McMaster University and offers a supportive team environment with excellent working hours.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No evenings or weekends)
Duration: Approximately 6 months, with potential for a longer-term opportunity
Location: Hamilton, ON
Key Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Take and process dental radiographs (HARP certification required)
Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent chairside support
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed Qualifications:
Level II Dental Assistant Certification (required)
HARP Certification (required)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Flexibility to occasionally assist at our other practice locations is considered a strong asset
Experience with abeldent software an asset
