Job Description
Sprout Kids Dentistry is a new pediatric dental office in Windsor, dedicated to providing exceptional care in a fun, friendly, and child-focused environment. We’re building our passionate team committed to creating positive dental experiences for children and their families. If you’re a compassionate, skilled, and energetic Level II Dental Assistant, we’d love for you to join us!
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist in all chairside procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Use effective behavior management techniques to create a positive experience for pediatric patients.
Take extra-oral and intra-oral X-rays in compliance with HARP certification guidelines.
Maintain strict infection control standards, including instrument sterilization and operatory setup.
Educate families on treatment options, oral hygiene, diet, and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Foster a fun, engaging, and supportive office environment for both patients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Certified Level II Dental Assistant with HARP certification.
First Aid/BLS Certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is an asset but not required.
Experience with dental reception is an asset but not required.
Familiarity with Tracker software is an asset but not required.
Fluency in a second language is an asset but not required.
