Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining high clinical and sterilization standards.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms and instruments
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols according to Ontario standards
Prepare patients for treatment and ensure patient comfort
Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
Manage inventory and order dental supplies when required
Support front desk duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
Qualifications
Certified Dental Assistant Level II preferred
HARP certification required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Experience with dental software is an asset
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a busy dental practice

dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Driver's Licence (preferred)
