Job Summary
We are seeking a Level II HARP certified Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team! In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting with procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your dental assisting skills, including proficiency with dental software and orthodontic procedures, while contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Duties
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterilized and ready for use
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
Take dental radiographs and itero scanning
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes as a dental receptionist, providing excellent customer service
Knowledge of Abeldent a plus
Provide patient education on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices
Support pediatrics by creating a friendly environment for young patients and assisting with age-specific care needs
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including infection control standards and medical terminology documentation
Skills
Certified as a Level II HARP Dental Assistant with current certification verification
Proficient in dental software platforms such as Dentrix, Epic, or similar practice management systems
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics
Experience working with pediatric patients and understanding their unique needs
Skilled in orthodontic procedures and familiar with CAD technology for digital impressions or restorations
Excellent communication skills to serve as an effective dental receptionist and patient liaison
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
