Licenced Dental Hygienist

Family Dental At Wesley Chapel is looking for a caring and motivated Dental Hygienist with excellent communication skills. The hygienist will be working on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week. Must be a registered dental hygienist with an active license to practice in the state of Florida. Beautiful office & state-Of-Art equipment. Work with a happy & energetic team.

Responsibilities:
Take patients medical and dental histories, do periodontal charting and communicate well with patients, dentist and all team members.

Patient education on oral health condition and deliver oral hygiene instructions.

Perform preventive care procedures like: routine oral prophylaxis, topical fluoride application, placement of pit and fissure sealants and oral cancer screenings.

Perform periodontal procedures like Scaling & root planing and periodontal maintenance.

Take dental impressions, traditional as well as digital for whitening trays and mouthguards.

Set up and break down of hygiene trays and instruments and their sterilization.

Manage and schedule patient re-care appointments.

Seat patients, take dental radiographs and perform any other activities that help with patient flow.

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
