Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements.

Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop accurate diagnoses.

Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment plans and educate patients on oral health maintenance.

Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.

Document all medical records accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix; ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.

Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort.

Provide clear client communication by explaining procedures, answering questions, and offering guidance on post-treatment care.

Assist in dental fabrication processes and utilize dental imaging technology for precise diagnosis and treatment planning.

Uphold the highest standards of infection control and sterilization procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.

Experience
Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on general dentistry and specialized procedures such as endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or implantology.

Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes.

Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, orthodontic treatments, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.

Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical setting.

Ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds while providing compassionate care tailored to individual needs.
