Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with patience and care for young patients.
Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results to aid in accurate diagnoses.
Maintain strict infection control standards using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA and state healthcare regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency.
Document all procedures accurately in medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding.
Skills
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes.
Experience in performing dental extractions, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), orthodontics, implants, and other advanced procedures.
Skilled in medical imaging techniques and interpreting diagnostic images for accurate treatment planning.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and patient care.
