Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with patience and precision, ensuring comfort for young patients.
Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient flow and treatment efficiency.
Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness.
Skills
Proficiency in dental software such as Open Dental for scheduling, charting, and record management.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes.
Experience with dental fabrication techniques and medical imaging tools.
Ability to perform dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and anesthesiology techniques for patient comfort.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse patient needs.
Knowledge of infection control standards and adherence to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality of medical records.
