Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, complemented by expertise in various specialized procedures, patient care, and clinical diagnostics. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning aligned with best practices and healthcare regulations.
Deliver a wide range of dental services such as restorative procedures, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placement.
Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
Employ advanced clinical techniques including four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations while ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to safeguard patient health and prevent cross-contamination.
Collaborate with team members using dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing processes.
Provide patient education on oral health maintenance, treatment procedures, and post-operative care to foster informed decision-making.
Assist in dental fabrication processes when necessary and ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained for optimal performance.
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and other specialties through continuous education.
Experience
Valid state licensure as an Associate Dentist with active licensing requirements fulfilled.
Demonstrated experience working within a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Proven ability to perform diverse dental procedures including extractions, root canals, implants, orthodontic treatments, and pediatric dentistry cases.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy relevant to oral health, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices essential for maintaining accurate patient records.
Prior experience in providing patient-centered care while managing multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis processes combined with excellent client communication skills to ensure clarity and trust throughout treatment plans.
