Job Description
Our state-of-the-art dental practice is located in Eden Prairie, MN. We are looking for an organized, dependable, detail-oriented and highly-motivated licensed dental assistant to join our amazing team.
As a member of our team, there will be great training and continuing education opportunities. We will constantly strive to improve ourselves and our patient experience together as a team. New, creative, and out of the box ideas are always welcome, and encouraged to help grow our vision and improve patient care.
Responsibilities:
Preparing patients for dental work.
Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.
Providing great patient care.
Recording treatment information in patient records.
Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.
Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.
Qualifications:
Licensed Dental Assistant
Previous experience in dental field is preferred, but not required. Willing to train a motivated applicant!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
