True North Orthodontics is a locally woman-owned, modern orthodontic practice in Duluth — and we’re growing! We’re looking for a warm, motivated, patient-centered licensed Dental Assistant or Dental Hygienist to join our exceptional team.

As a key member of our clinical team, you’ll help create an exceptional experience for every patient while supporting smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include:
Greeting patients with a welcoming, friendly presence
Taking orthodontic records
Assisting with braces and clear aligner placement and adjustments
Educating patients and parents on treatment progress and home care
Scheduling future appointments
Following clinical protocols and orthodontist direction
Instrument sterilization and maintaining a clean, stocked clinic
Supporting our remote monitoring system (Grin)
Assisting with light marketing and social media content monthly
Helping teammates wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
Current Minnesota license as a Dental Assistant or Dental Hygienist
Friendly, positive attitude with excellent communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help beyond assigned tasks
Comfortable learning new technology and workflows
Reliable and consistent availability
Long-term interest in growing with our practice
Orthodontic experience preferred but motivated learners are encouraged to apply
Compensation & Schedule
Starting pay: From $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible between 16-24 hours per week depending on your needs
Daytime shifts only — no nights or weekends
