We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and skilled licensed Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, clinical procedures, and excellent communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients. Hourly pay will depend on experience. New graduates are welcome to apply if they are currently in the licensing process. Grant funding available to help with tuition plus bonus opportunities! We look forward to meeting you!
Responsibilities
Assist the dentists during examinations and treatments.
Greet all patients on time and in a warm caring manner.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring it is clean and organized in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take dental X-rays, utilizing appropriate safety measures and equipment.
Manage patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Utilize PM software Eaglesoft for effective patient management.
Perform chairside assisting duties, including preparing instruments and materials for procedures.
Monitor vital signs as needed during treatments to ensure patient safety.
Demonstrate patience and understanding with younger patients.
Record accurate documentation during patient visit.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential.
Familiarity with various dental specialties including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Experience with aseptic techniques and infection control practices is required.
Ability to operate Axios 3D imaging machine for imaging purposes is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
