Job Description
Nokomis Family Dental, a family-owned practice in Minneapolis, is seeking a skilled Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help to ensure patients receive high-quality care. Ideal candidates work well with their team in a fast-paced environment. Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during operative procedures
- Take dental radiographs
- Make temporary crowns
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies and basic knowledge of dental procedures.
- Knowledge of Invisalign, implants
- Manage inventory of dental supplies, keep rooms appropriately stocked.
Experience:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Understanding of dental anatomy
- Proficiency in Dentrix software with the ability to enter accurate treatment plans.
- Experience in taking CBCT a plus

Pay: $33.00 - $41.00 per hour
