Licensed Dental Assistant — Fairmont Dentistry (Vancouver, BC)
About Us:
Fairmont Dentistry is a growing dental practice in Vancouver focused on prevention and conservative restorative care. We're looking for a Licensed Dental Assistant who takes pride in their work, thrives in a calm organized environment, and wants to grow clinically.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with procedures — anticipating instrument needs, and supporting efficient workflow
- Infection control and equipment maintenance
- Capturing intraoral photos, digital scans, and radiographs
- Supporting patient communication and comfort throughout appointments
What We're Looking For:
- Licensed Dental Assistant in BC (current)
- Current BLS / CPR-C certification
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Works independently without constant direction — anticipates what's needed before being asked
- Proactive and self-directed — takes initiative, looks for ways to contribute, and values cross-training
- Punctual, efficient, and organized
- Strong communication skills — builds rapport with patients and explain treatments
Nice-to-Haves:
- Sedation certification
- Familiarity with Dentally software
Benefits:
On-site gym, Parking, Health Spending Account, Uniform Allowance, available after one year. Total compensation package negotiable based on experience and wage
