Licensed Dental Assistant

We are a friendly, upscale dental practice in Brooklyn Park. We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time LDA : Full-Time will work 5 days a week and Part-Time will work 3 days a week (preferred but we are very flexible). $35 to 40 Hourly;
Applicants must have certificate from accredited dental school and current Minnesota license with certification for other duties as required by the state practice act.

We are looking for a LDA to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. As a Dental Assistant, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules.

Responsibilities
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Take X-rays or dental impressions
Monitor supplies:
Greet and escort patients to treatment room
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Take and record dental histories and document treatment
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Perform all necessary lab procedures
Demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments and proper tray setups
Outstanding communication skills
