Job Overview
We are seeking a personable, motivated Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Our practice opened two years ago and features high end finishes, a modern design and the latest dental technology.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the continued growth of the practice. Duties & Responsibilities
Chairside assist doctor during endodontic procedures, primarily root canals and surgical treatments, ensuring efficient and smooth patient care.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays), including 3D scans.
Assist with front desk responsibilities when needed, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
Educate patients on root canal treatment and provide clear post-operative instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain proper sterilization and aseptic techniques.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or completion of a Dental Assisting program/certification required.
Familiarity with dental insurance coding and billing procedures.
Ability to perform patient assessments and obtain vital signs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude, professionalism and a team-oriented mindset.
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
