Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care while supporting the clinical operations of our practice. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and dental technology will ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment for our patients. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment areas and sterilize dental instruments following strict infection prevention management protocols.

Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring four-handed dentistry efficiency.

Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced imaging equipment while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.

Monitor vital signs and medical history to ensure patient safety before procedures.

Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices to promote long-term dental health.

Support the dental reception process by managing patient management software, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Requirements
Valid licensure as a Dental Assistant with certification in dental assisting from an accredited program.

Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in clinical procedures such as X-ray, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.

Proficiency with dental equipment including sterilization tools, digital X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices.

Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology to accurately assist during procedures.

Demonstrated understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control standards including aseptic technique and infection control protocols.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members such as dental receptionists and other healthcare professionals.

Ability to maintain clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive patient information securely.
