Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as an experienced Licensed Dental Assistant, where your skills will directly contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and creating confident smiles!
We are a privately owned group practice with long standing patients and team members. This position suits someone with experience in all aspects of clinical duties.
Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, restorations, prosthodontic, surgical and orthodontic treatments
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict sterilization protocols
Take and develop dental radiographs
Manage patient records using dental software ,documenting procedures and treatment plans precisely
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly for smooth daily operations
Experience
Valid license as a Dental Assistant with provincial licensing requirements fulfilled
Proven experience working as a LDA, preferably with exposure to cosmetic dentistry
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Pay: $33.00-$39.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
