Position Summary
The Licensed Dental Assistant works closely with the dentist and clinical team to provide high-quality patient care, support dental procedures, and ensure an efficient and comfortable patient experience.
Responsibilities
Treatment & Patient Care
Prepare and organize treatment rooms for procedures
Assist the dentist chair side during dental treatments
Take digital dental radiographs
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
Support patient comfort throughout visits
Additional Duties
Reappoint and manage patient follow-up visits
Prepare treatment areas and materials
Track and maintain dental supply inventory
Qualifications
Current Minnesota Dental Assistant License
Current CPR certification
Radiology certification
Experience with dental software/digital imaging (Dentrix/Dexis preferred but not required)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
