Licensed Dental Assistant-P/T (Tue/Thur/Fri)

Part-time Licensed Dental Assistant needed for a well-established oral surgery specialty practice. The successful candidate will be joining a surgical specialty office that has a history of serving the community for over 40 years. A culture of exemplary patient care and safety is well-established for this practice.

Duties:
assisting during surgery
taking digital radiographs (including panorex and cone beam CT)
operatory set up/cleaning
sterilization
anesthesia monitoring and recovery (we will provide IV sedation and anesthesia training)
seating patients and discharging them
taking impressions
occasional cross coverage of reception may be required
The successful candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English, competent using dental software, and motivated to learn and provide exceptional patient care.

Required days of work include Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Our office is located in Central Lonsdale in the City of North Vancouver.
