Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and caring PART TIME dental assistant to join our team! Dental assistant should be licensed and certified according to all state requirements, including have an active CPR certification, comfortable with taking radiographs.
If you are not licensed but have a strong interest to learn the field of dentistry, you are welcome to apply as well to be considered for on-the-job training.
The right candidate is friendly, punctual, and reliable. New graduates welcome to apply. Office has all PPE necessary to work safely, and follows strict infection control protocols.
Office is accessible by MBTA (bus and commuter rail). Parking available.
Flexible schedule available, as little as 10 hours or as many as 30 hours available. Please email resume for consideration.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Chairside assisting for hygiene and general dentistry procedures (cleanings, fillings, crowns, alginate impressions)
Setting up and breaking down operatories
Sterilizing instruments
Takings digital intraoral x-rays and panoramic xrays
Providing occasional support for front desk duties including checking in patients, signing treatment plans, collecting patients, and booking next appointment as needed
Compensation based on experience and type of licensure.
