About the Role:
DC PEARLS DENTAL BOUTIQUE is looking for a talented and dedicated and experienced Licensed Dental Assistant to join our growing practice in Washington, DC! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a skilled dental team in a patient-focused environment where your expertise and passion for oral health truly make a difference.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive treatments
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patient visits
Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed
Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and updates in the dental software system
Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices
Manage inventory, order dental supplies, and maintain equipment
Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a comfortable, welcoming experience from check-in to checkout
Requirements:
Active Dental Assistant license in Washington, DC (required)
Experience in a dental office or clinical setting preferred 5 + Years
Proficiency in dental radiography and X-ray certification
Familiarity with Eaglesoft dental software and electronic health records (EHR)
Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilization protocols, and OSHA standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
