Job Description
Registered Dental Hygienist | Full-Time
Wood Park Dental
Looking for more than just another hygiene job?
At Wood Park Dental, we're looking for someone who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthier smiles while building lasting relationships. We believe dentistry is about improving lives through education, prevention, and compassionate care—not simply completing appointments.
We're a privately owned, patient-centered practice that values positivity, teamwork, accountability, and continuous growth. If you enjoy making patients feel comfortable, thrive in a collaborative environment, and take pride in delivering exceptional care, we'd love to meet you.
About the Position
This is an exciting full-time opportunity to join a growing practice where your voice, clinical expertise, and passion for patient care truly matter. We're searching for a hygienist who is confident in providing exceptional clinical care while also embracing teamwork and contributing to a positive office culture.
Whether you're an experienced hygienist or a newer graduate eager to learn, we're committed to helping you succeed.
What You'll Do
As one of the providers our patients spend the most time with, you'll have the opportunity to educate, encourage, and positively impact their overall health.
Responsibilities include:
Providing comprehensive preventive and periodontal care.
Educating patients on oral health, home care, and disease prevention.
Performing periodontal charting, radiographs, and thorough clinical assessments.
Identifying patient concerns and communicating findings with the doctor.
Delivering exceptional patient care while helping patients feel comfortable and understood.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborating with doctors and teammates to provide outstanding patient experiences.
Helping create an efficient, welcoming, and positive environment for both patients and coworkers.
Who You Are
Our ideal teammate is someone who:
Genuinely enjoys caring for people and building long-term patient relationships.
Brings a positive attitude and uplifting energy to work each day.
Communicates professionally and respectfully with patients and teammates.
Thrives in a collaborative environment and understands that great patient care is a team effort.
Is dependable, accountable, and takes pride in delivering high-quality care.
Is coachable, open-minded, and committed to lifelong learning.
Adapts well to change and embraces new technology and clinical techniques.
Supports teammates without keeping score and celebrates the success of the entire practice.
Believes kindness, humility, and professionalism create the strongest teams.
What We Offer
Competitive compensation based on experience
Monday–Thursday schedule with half-day Fridays (one a month)
Flexible scheduling options
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Medical insurance
401(k) with employer match
Health Savings Account (HSA)
Paid holidays
Annual scrub allowance
Paid CPR certification
Continuing education opportunities
Modern technology and a commitment to clinical excellence
Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing support to help you succeed
At Wood Park Dental, we believe the best workplaces are built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to providing exceptional patient care. We work hard, support one another, celebrate successes together, and genuinely enjoy coming to work.
If you're looking for a practice where you'll be appreciated, encouraged to grow, and surrounded by a team that truly cares about one another and their patients, we'd love to meet you.
