Job Overview
This paid position is on Saturday 9 am -5 pm with opportunities of additional hours during the seven day work week.
As a Licensed Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dental care by supporting the dentist and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and patient management will help us provide top-quality services in general dentistry.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry
Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and dental equipment, following infection prevention management protocols
Take and develop dental x-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
Manage patient records accurately
Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by processing dental instruments and ensuring sterilization procedures are followed
Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, dental instrument processing, and aseptic technique
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical confidentiality policies
Experience with patient management software
Familiarity with dental x-ray procedures, including dental x-ray safety standards and certification requirements
Ability to operate dental equipment, digital radiography units, and other diagnostic tools
Knowledge of infection prevention management practices aligned with healthcare infection control standards
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and other staff involved in patient care
