Job Description
Job Title: Licensed/Registered Dental Hygienist
Location: Moua Family Dentistry, PC
1714 Cope Ave E, Maplewood, MN 55109 (651)340-7285
Wage: Starting at $45-$55/hour; starting wage is negotiable based on experience.
Requirements:
Dental Hygienist degree from an accredited program.
License to practice dental hygiene in Minnesota.
CPR/BLS certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be available to work during dental clinic hours of operation: Monday to Thursday from 9:00AM-6:00PM. (Team members are require to arrive at 8:45 AM each work day).
Key Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform all duties within the scope of practice established by regulations and rules of the State of Minnesota and the Minnesota Board of Dentistry that the dentist(s) delegates
Perform dental examinations and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment.
Provide preventive care and restorative care to patients
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
Take patient radiographs
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Work with clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow.
Develop a strong working relationship with the dentist/staff and promote teamwork through cooperative collaboration and professionalism.
Other duties as may be assigned.
