Locum Dentist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Dentist to provide high-quality dental care on a temporary basis. This position could be full time or part time and includes evenings and some weekends. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience working in diverse clinical settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring patient comfort and optimal oral health. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing to practice dentistry in BC.

Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues
Provide restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dental treatments
Manage patient records
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
Communicate treatment plans effectively to patients of all ages, including pediatrics
Maintain sterilization standards and adhere to infection control protocols
Educate patients on oral health maintenance and post-treatment care
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
