Job Description
We are seeking a General Dentist for a locum tenens opportunity at a well-established, patient-focused practice in Amity, AR. This is a great short-term assignment with strong support and the potential to extend.
Assignment Details:
Start Date: Late July or early August
Duration: 4–6 weeks (with option to extend an additional 2–4 weeks)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Patient Volume: 20–22 patients per day
Patient Mix: All ages
Scope of Work:
Composite fillings
Extractions
Exams and treatment planning
Hygiene checks
Emergency care
Pediatric fillings and extractions
Practice Environment:
Established practice with a long-standing patient base
Team includes dental assistants, a hygienist, and front office support
Emphasis on biological/holistic dentistry philosophy
Requirements:
Active state dental license
BLS required
PALS preferred
DEA preferred but not required
