We are seeking a highly skilled General Dentist (Super GP) with strong experience in molar endodontics (root canals) to support a growing practice in Bakersfield, CA. This is a flexible locum opportunity with the potential to expand into a long-term or permanent role.
Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:
2 days every other week to start
Potential to expand to 2–3+ days per week based on performance and patient demand
Clinical Overview
Patient Volume: 16+ patients per day
Patient Mix: 90% adult, 10% adolescent
Procedures
Primary Focus: Molar Endodontics (Root Canals)
Diagnose and develop comprehensive treatment plans
Preferred (not required):
Surgical extractions
Single-tooth implants
Practice Details
Support Staff: 2 RDAEFs, 1 RDA, 1 RDH
Charting System: Eaglesoft
Insurance: Delta Dental / PPO
Requirements
Active California Dental License
BLS Certification
DEA (preferred, not required)
Compensation & Logistics
Competitive pay rate
Travel and lodging available if needed
Preference for local candidates (mileage reimbursement)
