Job Description
WELCOME TO STRAIGHTLY ORTHODONTICS!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients / families in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check-in and check-out patients, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Promptly answer phone calls, texts, emails and respond to patient inquiries with excellent customer service.
- Successfully handle patient requests and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
- Maintain a clean & organized front desk area and waiting area.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.
- Chart all clinical findings for the Doctor and effectively enter into patient's digital file.
- Presentation of finances and payment plans to new patients (including insurance coverage and all related charges), actively promoting same-day starts.
- Coordinating treatment and assigning important tasks to other Team members, with scheduling of all necessary upcoming Orthodontic appointments.
- Completing Orthodontic Records: Taking digital photographs, intra-oral scanning (iTero Lumina scanner), and exposing extra-oral x-rays (Panoramic & Cephalometric) + CBCT 3-D images.
NOTE: This is not a complete list of responsibilities and tasks. This team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Doctor.
Experience:
- MUST be bilingual (fluent in both English & Spanish).
- MUST also have certifications in both Dental Assisting and Radiography (taking x-rays).
- MUST have previous experience working in a front desk or receptionist role in a specialty Orthodontic office.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using Windows, Microsoft Word, Practice Management, Payments/Insurance, and Payroll Software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Ability to work well under pressure alone & with other staff in a fast-paced environment.
