About Pain Treatment MD
Pain Treatment MD is a fast-growing, patient-centered pain management clinic dedicated to delivering exceptional care and a seamless patient experience and currently have an experience employee and we are excited to expand our front desk team for our third location!
*** we are seeking candidates with eClinicalWorks experience, do NOT apply if you do not have experience. Also willing to travel at least 2 days a month to Bryant/Hot Springs Village satellite clinic. Contractor service agreement acceptance prior to transition to full-time employee (if applicable).
We’re looking for a friendly, detail-driven, and proactive Front Desk Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to grow with us. We promote from within.
Position Summary
As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll set the tone for their visit. From greeting and checking in patients to explaining digital paperwork and benefits, your role is critical to maintaining our smooth clinic flow. YOU ARE THE FACE OF THE PRACTICE. We need someone who can multitask effortlessly, stay positive under pressure, and work as part of a tight-knit team, with a positive attitude and the ability to handle all sorts of personalities within our patient population. Our clinic is very fast paced!
Key Responsibilities(including and not limited to the following)
Warmly greet and check in patients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
Clearly explain paperwork and required forms to patients
Schedule patients, reschedule and coordinate patient care as needed
Review and clarify Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and insurance questions
Accurately post payments to patient accounts
Manage high-volume phone calls, texts and faxes and create telephone encounters in eClinicalWorks (eCW), and assign as needed
De-escalate patient concerns with empathy, patience, and professionalism
Keep the front desk and lobby organized and help maintain excellent clinic flow
Collaborate closely with the clinical and admin teams — we value team players
Be open to feedback and committed to personal and professional growth
What We're Looking For
2+ years of front desk/reception experience in a medical setting WITH eClinicalWorks experience, do not apply if you do not have experience.
Pain Management experience strongly preferred
Proficiency with eClinicalWorks (eCW) or similar EMR system (strongly preferred)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Strong emotional intelligence and de-escalation skills
Team-oriented mindset — works well with others and contributes to a positive work culture
Open to constructive feedback, with a great attitude and a willingness to improve
Stable work history — no job hoppers, please. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us long-term. NO JOB HOPPERS. Employment Verification will be performed.
