Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team at a busy medical clinic. The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing excellent patient care and be able to handle a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Maintain and update patient medical records
- Assist with medical coding and billing procedures
- Handle inquiries regarding medical services and procedures
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Experience
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Knowledge of medical terminology, including dental terminology
- Experience with medical office management and procedures
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes
- Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.71 per hour
