JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for greeting and checking patients in and out of clinic, via in-person or on the phone. Schedules patient appointments, takes client payment information, filing and other front desk tasks.

Starting Pay: $15.50–$17.11 per hour, with compensation determined based on directly related medical office experience and applicable qualifications. $1,000 sign-on bonus!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains schedules of clinical staff.

Entry and verification of client data

Collects copayments

Responsible for technology support for telehealth appointments

Answers multi-line phone

Registration of clients in the electronic medical record

Excellent Customer Service to promote a service environments for individuals in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused

Research and verification of insurance benefits and knowledge to apply for alternative payer sources

Prepare and scan documents to internal HIM

Cross train and perform duties to cover neighboring locations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level:

High school diploma or GED required

Certification/Licensure

Valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing – 20%
